Trajes Típicos

The collection “Trajes Típicos” was based on Peru’s cultural diversity. It was launched in 2001 and its objective was to showcase how Peruvian female beauty is highlighted in the different regions. Ani Alvarez Calderon considered the different element that make up the traditional garments. The collection extracts each culture’s originality and further combines it with the trends that ruled the fashion world at the time.
