Ani’s best role model was always her grandmother, Anita Fernandini de Naranjo, Lima’s first female mayor. She was very devoted to Santa Rosa de Lima, and little by little Ani became a believer as well. When Ani was searching for inspiration for her next collection, Santa Rosa appeared to her... in an imposing portrait. Thus was born the collection Santa Rosa in 2003.

The collection Santa Rosa de Lima was defined as a big success not only by the public but also by the Parisian media. The runway came to be due to a lunch organized to celebrate Valentine’s Day. The collection came in during the desert and was described as a “total success”.
